Great capture here! I love the perspective and good choice of shutter speed. The leaf on the rock also enhances the photo as well. Nicely done.

Hi Radim, very nice picture, I like especially the brilliant colors and the exposure. The point of view is interesting, with the "gold" leaf sharp and perfectly not centered. Maybe seems a little tilted, look the trees in the background.Best regards, Enrico.

A very impressive presentation of the running water Radim, a piece of great shot to add into your portfolio. But those tilting tree trunks on the top portion are not so pleasing to me. I think I would try best to clone them out if this were my photo.
Cheers......Edwin

Hi Radim, a very beautiful photo you have here. The running water and the green leaves make this picture so refreshing and enjoyable. Composition is very good, so is the exposure, just lowest part needs a bit more of light for my taste. But wish the leaf on the rock a bit darker, think it draws too much attention. Well done and thanks for sharing Robert.

Great photograph, personally i find it perfect, the atmosphere is so pleasant, the colors are great, it almost makes you feel you are there, listening the sounds of the forest. Thanks for sharing.

Well taken photo. Love the stream and the lighting you have. The placement of the leaf is a good touch and I do enjoy it. However i find it miss leading.. perhaps it is the brightness of the leaf and think the capture of fall is lovely in the woods with its reds along the banks of the stream. Thanks for sharing! -matthew

The photo is very well done and attractive. I feel, however, that it looks too staged. The yellow leaf does not obviously match the rest of the scene and it might be too central to the entire photo. I think that you placed the leaf on the rock. I wonder if the impact would be better if the leaf were further into the shot on the same rock. Regards. Bill

I agree with you Bill. The leaf doesn't match the rest of the scene, though on the right side which you are not able to see, the forest continues and there was plenty of those leafs to choose from.
Sometimes I just don't mind if the Mother nature receives little bit of help.. ;-)

Staging the leaf in the scene or cleaning up is okay with me. I just wonder (not question your choice) if the impact would be better if a single leaf was deeper into the scene. Bill

Nice use of a wide angle lens. You managed to get close up to the foreground and yet keep the background in focus. Nice colors, maybe a little over saturated, but that's a personal like/dislike that not everyonee agrees on.
It seems to be tilting towards the right a bit. I know that the trees in the background are leaning that way, but it also looks like the imaginary horizon at the top of the stream also tilts to the right. Even if that is the way it was, I think a 1 or 2 degree tilt to the left would have helped. Also, I'm just guessing, but the lone leaf on the rock seems like it was placed there just for the photo. Nothing wrong with that, but I would have put two or four other, small leaves, on the rock to make it look more natural.

Thanks Brad for you good comment. You are right about the leaf. It was placed there intentionaly, though there were too many of them, so I had to do bit of a clean up... Next I ll try to keep it more in natural balance... ;-)
You also might be right about the tilting. I ll have a look at it, but on the other way I don't mind it that much. ;-)
Greetings, R.
