nicely composed and exposed shot with lovely focus and DOF to capture the required details for the title .. nice expressions and a lovely eye contact .. colors are sweet and you rendered the skin tones well .. it seems he is resting his feet with the boarder to avoid a slip out of the frame. :) a very lovely shot dear Stacy :) best of regards.. JOYIA

Thanks Joyia, yes his sister had fun throwing pine cones and he seemed more interested in nailing the shot

Hi Stacy. 1st of all great extremes of your 2 photos, thats the love of the camera and the mind using it. Great take of the boy with tongue just showing, who is keeping still till told to relax, meanwhile little girl at back finds this so funny as if its her in the limelight or is she laughing out loud to disturb the poser. Well caught for our imaginations.Good use of the frame using subjects top left to lower right, focusing and sharpness at the right places. Cheers--Dave

colors clairity and compostion are awesome. His face works great and the little girl in the backgrounds posing as if she is unaware that she is background. I think his whole feet should be in the image... great shot

Stacy, this shot is adorable! The light is giving this image some punch and is at the right angle to give the boys face some depth. Love the girl in the background, she seems very happy. For improvements, all minor. Would like to see his entire feet and her missing foot.

Stacy, hello! I really like the composition, color and children faces. The square cropping is also very good here. I'd may be add a little sharpen to boy's face and especially over his eyes.
