I think this little guy has amazing eyes. He was fun to photograph. Just a shot from a recent family session... I shot all the kids(4) with headshots for Christmas cards... good times!

All natural light... no reflectors or anything.

Thanks for looking.

this photo is great! The backdrop is perfect for the child, making him really stand out. Was their any photoshop work done to do this photo? If their was not---GREAT WORK---the picture is literarly flawless in my opinion.

Thank you Lauren :)

Photoshop work...

Used the healing brush a little on the skin...just a couple of scratches
Sharpened the eyes a little
increased the saturation ...not much
Background is a pond reflecting....no blur added or anything like that...
did a little whitening on the teeth...
all in all...very little post work.

Thanks a million for the great comments. Reply

Just wanted to add more green thumbs to this amazing portrait of this stunning child. The shape of his face, the perfect skin, the gorgeous brows, and the knockout eyes, you got them all in one wonderful capture! Take many more of this little guy and share!

What a great shot! His eyes are amazing and that smile is priceless! The background browns, blues, white, and yellowish-green really add to this picture. The centered crop is perfect and the overall look is excellent.

great portrait and use of light, adding a unsharp mask in small increments would sharpen without changing the natural look, i see you are use f2.0 and wondering if a little more depth would add to overall image

Do you feel the image is not sharp? His skin is...well... little boy skin... nice and smooth. No skin smoothing applied. :)

The shot was at F/5.0... could have stopped down a little... but I wanted to place the emphasis on his eyes... so... the background was secondary.

Thanks for the comments.
