The wheels are fun, but I am caught by the sign on the wheelchair - please talk to me, looking for 2 room.... I would have sacrificed the square format for a bit more air on the sides. ;o)-max-

Thank you, Max! For me the wheels a more than fun - they are telling a story about grewing older and how different life can be. This scene changed very quickly - so there was no time for accurate framing. To be honest: This was a shot from my hip and unfortunately I left very less space at the left side. Regards, Wolfram

The value of every good image lies in relationships, and this image goes beyond just showing a disabled person, but sets up multiple visual relationships that help create a complex, and interesting, message. Others have made excellent comments on the technical issues in the image, and I won't repeat any of that.

My 3TU here. I agree with a critique below but i'm not sure that all objects must be in focus. This DOF is enough to add a depth in a whole composition as well as not to ruine all lines and details.

Composition is a 3 TU
Choice of black and white is a 3 TU
Frame of the shot is a 3 TU
Focus (just a little fuzzy) and depth of field (all subjects are not in focus together) is is a 2 TU
Almost a full 3 Thumbs UP - but a bit short of flawless!
I enjoy the four sets of wheels - bike - stroller - tricycle and wheel chair!
Very good work!
Thanks for sharing!

Excellent capture in my opinion.. I think most people would not see the artist composition with this general subject matter - bravo! Good choice of black/white and the contrast in color AND individuals (wheels). Regards cZ

Another reminder that Photosig's recommendation is three conforming critiques per photo submitted. This helps Photosig achieve its goal of three critiques for every member's photos. Photosig needs members like you, on a continuing basis, to write three critiques for other members for every photo you submit. Please, can you spend some time writing critiques for other members? Thank you.
