Today saw a crisp, clear, still morning in Maryland. With the moon setting, the sun rising, the fog coming off of the lake and the final colors of autumn still in evidence, this scene presented itself.

In theory all these elements could combine to make an interesting capture. Backing away a few feet from the monitor and de-focussing on this image, it has a nice combination of shapes and colors. On the other hand, focussing on the details, the mist looks more luck a blurry fog, the dark areas in the trees have some blown areas of purplish color and the moon and sky are lacking contrast. All in all pretty tough lighting conditions but good try under these circumstances.

I love this----maybe some more colors in the sky would help, like the beautiful sunrise colors of pink, orange,, etc, otherwise flawless, Could enhance sky in Photoshop. Sharpness is great, And the graininess suits the photo. Over all, Nice job!

beautiful scene..has everything in one, the only thing I would have liked to have seen is a little more vibrancy/color in the sky..maybe a CP filter would have done the trick..nice job..thanks..jdtx
