seems a bit grainy maybe a little too much zoomed in as well, would of loved to see more of the wings. the face shot came out great tho. keep it up!

i like how the photo is focussed on the owl and how his pose takes up the entire photo

A truly sinister mood in this one. The B&W treatment adds to the mood, and the DOF is perfect. Good comp. w/ the face in the 'sweet spot'. Love the black holes for eyes appearance you've captured. Where'd you shoot this wonderful Barred Owl?

Appreciate your comments Arlen, this is a full frame image, no cropping, the grains comes from pushing the film, if I remember it was an overcast day in a Vancouver park.

This phtoo is great! A little grainy. Sharpness is perfect. Love the owls claws, you caught a unforgetable photo!
