As you can likely tell from the pics I take, my preference is landscapes, wildlife, nature, etc. I am in awe of some of the pics on here and strive to get better all the time. Seems to be a bit of a slow process but I am learning so much from this site. Thanks to all that make me a better photographer!

I had a 100% manual 35 mm, probabally most of us did starting out, that I knew inside and out. Then I got a digital camera. Although I really liked the pics it took I still wanted something more so I could do more things, but I was out of the photography taking for a number of years before purchasing my Pentax DSLR. I find I have to learn photography all over again. I don't mind the learning process. I enjoy a good challenge so.....looks like I got one!
